Love is one of the first things we experience, yet the last thing we understand. Your TV and books will always be occupied with the feelings — whether they are hidden or not — as love is the motive of the world. 

Know what you want and why you want it, and watch it unfold in front of your eyes. No more excuses.

If you’re into fashion, this is not the first time you’ve heard this expression. If you’re new to fashion, you’ve still probably heard this thrown around in everyday life.

There are so many feelings of joy you can unlock when you start to seek them. Your life is not comprised of big moments, it is composed of little ones, so we must make the little ones count. 

While dressing like a “clean girl” for a day with a slick back and tight athleisure might work, it feels a bit boring, and possibly unrepresentative of who you are. 

You are not one size fits all. Neither are your fashion aesthetics.

Even if you feel as if you are powerless, unable to invoke change or inspire, we all have the power to impact ourselves and everyone around us. Start today.

As we all know, the 2025 Met Gala took place on Monday, May 5th. This wouldn’t be a part-fashion, part-feelings blog without talking about our feelings for one of the biggest nights in fashion. Tighten your heel straps, because I’m going to count down my top 5 looks of the night.

Stop being so critical of yourself, judging your own behavior as embarrassing, and letting others make you feel embarrassed.

Go to the movies alone, talk to strangers everywhere, and explore yourself without fear of embarrassment.

Finding a style that is unique to you is a long journey, and one that will notably change as your interests pique or as you age. However, fashion is more than just clothes, it’s an identity. It’s time to find that identity.

It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else. It only has to make sense to you. Life’s short. Take risks. Dream big. And just try.
